About
Switchcraft are widely regarded as industry standard for quality components. Their products are used by big brands, luthiers and repairers alike, and I'd trust and recommend their jacks and switches.
This is the traditional long frame Switchcraft toggle switch, as used by Gibson in some of their US built instruments such as certain Les Paul's and ES-335's for example. It comes as standard without a switch tip, but you can choose a switch tip of your choice via the drop down menus. It comes supplied with a standard mounting nut. An Important note: The thread length of this switch is very shallow at only 5mm which is not long enough to fit through most Les Paul or ES-335 top's. Therefore, we recommend also purchasing the extended knurled nut to extend bushing length to securely fasten it to the instrument. This is the exact same style nut that Gibson use. Alternatively, consider purchasing the Switchcraft Short frame toggle switch that has a longer length threaded section making install much easier across a broader range of models/makes.
Also worth noting that due to the overall length of this switch, it won't fit all Les Paul models, as some LP switch cavities are much smaller/shallower. You will need a cavity depth of at least 40mm to install this switch.
To help with soldering, all Switchcraft switches have been pre-tinned contacts from the factory. For tips on wiring these up, please see our wiring diagrams which are available via a link at the bottom of the website.

Local pickup - If you are local and wish to collect any items or order in advance for collection on a specific day, then you can still place an order online and select local pickup at the checkout. Or drop me a message and I'll reserve the items ready for your visit.
For online ordering and dispatch - In stock, non made to order items are processed and dispatched 3 days a week; Monday, Wednesday & Friday.
For orders that are placed on a Monday, Wednesday & Friday I have an order cut off time of 12:00GMT to allow me chance to process, pack and dispatch your order same day.
For non dispatch days (Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday & Thursday) there is no order cut-off time, and these will be processed, packed and shipped on the closest following dispatch day.
