Custom order Jennings Navigator landed! - Stock feature

I wanted to put together a little spotlight feature on a beautiful custom order Jennings 'Navigator' guitar I handled the order and import of on behalf of my customer, share some details on it's specs and of course some photos! So let's take a closer look - 



The 'Navigator' is of course Jennings take on the iconic Telecaster, all handmade by Chad Jennings at his workshop in California, USA. The scale length remains traditional on this build at 25.5", with a 21 fret neck. The neck profile chosen was the standard Jennings C shape, measuring .83" at the 1st and .87" at the 12th, with a modern 12" radius fretboard offering some 'modern' play-ability. Materials for the neck were quartersawn, roasted maple which offers fantastic stability and of course a unique, caramel esq colour look! An ebony fingerboard with beautiful Jennings signature 'hollow circle' MOP inlays. Finishing up the neck is a 2 way truss rod (heel adjust), bone nut, stepped matching colour headstock and Kluson vintage style tuners.





Moving onto the body, Swamp Ash was chosen with a beautiful open grain textured satin black finish which catches the light really well and shows off the grain of the ash nicely. The customer loves the styling of the Telecaster Deluxe, so that pickguard style was chosen along with the toggle switch and 4 control pot layout. We have 2 McNelly 'Bliss' low output, vintage inspired humbuckers a brass roller saddle bridge and the iconic Bigsby B5.
